Studio: Jennifer Marman & Daniel Borins
September 1st, 2010 4:20pm - September 1st, 2010 5:20pm
Two of the most promising artists on the rise in Canada, Jennifer Marman and Daniel Borins inject intelligent humour and pop culture into conceptual art. Working together since 2000, they use mass-produced materials to comment on our increasingly digital and consumerist culture. Graduates of the Ontario College of Art and Design, they have exhibited their creative collaborations around the world in cities such as Sao Paulo, Madrid, Hong Kong, as well as in prestigious Canadian institutions (including the National Gallery of Canada).

They have graciously invited The Ministry's members into their studio to discuss their art, how the market for their brand of large-scale installation art works, and their past pieces and upcoming projects. Members will be exposed to the many tools and materials used by these multi-media artists to make their creations, as well as gain a unique insight into the manner in which these successful young artists run their business practice.

Jennifer Marman & Daniel Borins are represented by Georgia Scherman Projects in Toronto.
